I was trying to run Adelie Linux with Xfce from the live cd and when I ran STARTX it through up this error after the screen went to black

I tried re downloading and updating both X11 and XFCE as well as I reburned the cd twice and even tried a the Mate CD encase it was a XFCE, but still nothing fixed the issue.
