For each project, I’m prompted to add it to the whitelist in Windows Defender. I’ve already added the parent directory, do I need to add each subdirectory (each project) individually as well?

If I don’t need to add each individual subdirectory, could the IDE’s prompt be smarter to reduce unnecessary notifications?
