I’ve been trying to create a movement script for my game character but whenever i try to use the getkeydown function (among some others that it doesnt recognize) i get no feedback or any sign of vs studio knowing the function. neither by trying to anticipate it nor by showing me any sign of color.
I have not found any similar problem anywhere and am seriously at the end with my limited knowladge.

I tried to see if it would try to correct me or auto fill the finction. It doesn’t.
I tried to see if it would color it if I were to write it out. It doesn’t.
I tried to find any libraries that others used, which i hadn’t. they do not.(everyone used the standart ones when u open a new script in unity)
