I was forcibly updated to Win11 from Win10.
Before that, the emulator worked fine – could read/write etc no problem.
After Win11 update, the emulator would load, but showed no databases/containers etc, and wouldn’t let me add anything. Everything I had was gone.
Uninstalled it, downloaded and installed the latest version (azure-cosmosdb-emulator-2.14.18-e2d1bbf7)
Emulator loads after install, and can read/write as before – but obviously none of the original data was there.
Just exiting the emulator prevents it being reopened:
First error
Click on [OK] 23 times (I counted), then I get:
24th Error
Uninstalled and removed folders as directed, then reinstalled. Works initially, but then doesn’t. Exactly the same.
Uninstalled, removed folders, rebooted, then reinstalled. Still works once.
