I am doing some configuing of Python on my computer and currently don’t have it installed anywhere, yet my CMD ‘where’ command yields this output:
CMD output and missing folder
I then try to follow the path and find that there is no “Microsoft” directory. Is this something that is added and can’t be removed from Windows, like XBox Game Bar? Do I just need to download Python somewhere else and add the correct PATH?
The Microsoft python path that you see in the picture does NOT show up in the program list in the Windows settings.
At this point I just want to know why I can’t delete/access it, and really how I can configure PATH to use my custom download (which I currently don’t have downloaded for debugging purposes.)
Thanks!
I have tried add or remove programs and I have tried showing hidden folders.
-Show hidden folders
-Doesn’t show up in Add or Remove Programs
-I have written python and it interprets and runs, telling me that this Microsoft download has some functionality
-How do I add a custom download to PATH?
