I want to make a file explorer for fun and I am wondering which one I should use?

I tried them all but they all seemed to do the same thing (delete the file).
It is really confusing why there are 3 different functions that seem to do the same thing and I want to know if there are any differences. (Stack overflow, do I have enough characters yet?)
