I wanted to know whether it is possible to create a dummy E-commerce website for portofolio purpose with real Payment Gateway. Do i really needed to incorporate an actual payment gateway and i needed to send real money to confirm the order or is there a way (probably manually) to somehow make it like a real Payment Gateway, for instance like waiting 5 minutes to make payment automatically confirmed,etc.

But all in all the question is : it is possible to implement a Payment Gateway (free of charge) using Bank API or maybe an extension/package as i might need to also implement a security if it’s really possible.

For the background, i am currently trying to make an E-commerce website for my portofolio and i have some features that i wanted to implement but while i haven’t touched the backend yet, i wanted to know whether this is possible or people usually just automatically confirm this after pressing checkout button as this is a dummy project.
