I have a Windows 10 OS with 8GB RAM
I have hardware reserved RAM of 2.1GB allocated for Ubuntu system during VMWare installation of the said OS. I want to release the RAM back to my desktop.
In VMWare window, I removed the Ubuntu 64-bit instance

The issue is when I was opening the os, it showed some error about corrupt .vmx file.
There was no .vmx file in the Documents/Virtual Machines directory.
So, in the folder of Documents/Virtual Machines, deleted the complete ubuntu folder

but in task manager, it’s still showing Hardware Reserved 2.1GB.
I navigated inside and Ended Task of VMWare, but the issue still persists. What to I need to do to release the Hardware Resources.
