My environment is macOS 13.4 and I’m using Ubuntu 22.04 on VMware Fusion.

The original size of the virtual disk is 20GB and I am recently informed that the storage is running out. Therefore, I enlarged the disk size to 40GB through Virtual Machine -> Hardware Settings in VMware Fusion.adjust disk size

But the disk size didn’t change in the VM. And then I restart the computer to see if it works. But now it seems that something went wrong and I cannot start the VM.the booting process is stuck here

Is there any way other than reinstalling to fix this issue?
