I have problem with watching streaming Premier League. This is the answer from Skylink(Canal +) provider :
From the side of the Canal+ provider, the activation of VMP (Verified Media Path) occurred, which restricts unauthorized browsers from obtaining Widevine L3 keys. This additional protection was enabled to limit unauthorized browsers from streaming and prevent the possibility of illegal content usage.
As a result, customers are now encountering a player error or DRM error if they lack L3 security.
This error may particularly manifest when a user is using a device, browser, or operating system that has not received necessary updates for an extended period (or irregularly, or not at all).
Linux operating systems in their current configuration do not meet security requirements with any web browser, thus streaming is blocked.
To continue playing content, it will be necessary for the software being used to be adapted to meet current security requirements.
This is not a restriction aimed at users of any specific software; it simply requires ensuring necessary updates. Most likely, the majority of television and video content providers will gradually undertake the same step and will likely continue to do so.
My Settings :
Ubuntu 22.04.3 LTS
Version 122.0.6261.111 (Official Build) (64-bit)
Could anyone help me whether there is any way to solve this situation on the Ubuntu operating system ?
Thanks
I tried installing Windows 10 via VirtualBox, where it works, but when I put it in full screen, the streaming lags.
