Tailscale is working fairly well thus far. I can connect to devices on our network through my phone when away from home. It’s not a major network with mainly just our NAS using Plex for music and photos, and also Roon ARC for streaming, and Blue Iris for cameras. Connections are good, however, there are two issues since installing Tailscale.
-
For our local network, Roon Storage on our Nucleus One lost connection to our NAS music folder. The path is FlashstorMusic connected fine until I installed Tailscale. Roon storage on the Nucleus One can no longer connect to FlashstorMusic.
-
The other issue is that the subdomains we have set up for connection to Plex and Blue Iris no longer work. The Tailscale IP address with their respective ports still connects to those devices, but the subdomains with reverse proxy setup no longer work.
Is there a solution for these issues or is this the life of using Tailscale?
Regards,
William
I’ve tried reconnecting to the FlashstorMusic folder with no success. I’m not sure what else to try for this or to get the reverse proxy working for the subdomains, hence my post. 🙂
