Unsuspend my Website through Google Verification?

My website was hacked. I have since deleted and reinstalled Wordpress through my Hostinger cpanel so I am positive that it is clean. Prior to me doing that my site was flagged as unsafe by Google Search therefore my Host changed my website status to “serverHold”, which
basically means they pulled the plug. My host tells me that they are not able to restore my site until it is no longer being recognized as harmful through the google search console and lookup tool provided by https://radix.website/report-abuse#unsuspensionsteps. They also told me to follow the steps provided at that link in order to restore my website. So far I have followed all the instructions however I am getting stuck at the ownership verification part by Google. Google is telling me to add a record to my websites DNS config, which I already have (added a couple of days) in order to verify that I am indeed the owner. However whenever I hit the verify button I get the error seen in the screenshot. The error is telling me that my domain could not be found. I think I am getting this error because my website status is set to serverHold as seen in the screenshot. So isn’t this a catch22? Google has flagged my site as unsafe therefore my Host was forced to pull the plug BUT in order for me to initiate the process of restoring my site I must verify that I am the owner, however I can’t verify that I am the owner because my site is not accessible due to the status being set to serverHold. It seems like I am stuck with no way out. Please am I missing something here? Thank you for your help whoever you are!
