We are trying to use the Chef Client extension that will install the Chef Client and bootstrap the none to Chef. The windows chef client works perfectly however we cannot get the Linux one to install the Chef client the extension gets created then it just seems to hang there and do nothing. We did have to install RubyGems for some reason that got us past the issue when it could not run gem commands but we thought the client install an embedded version of ruby for the client to use so not sure what we are doing wrong. If anyone can help me out that would be great if someone else is using the Linux Chef Client extension and help me. Thanks again.
