For some reason the ruler will not allow me to draw complete lines. Its slightly bothersome. Also when I was using the square drawing it wouldn’t draw complete squares, I deleted all other layers and this was the case. Please help.

What options may I have turned on or off? I opened the tool, used the symmetry tool then tried to draw with the ruler.
