I have the following problem: I want to list around a hundred thousand products from AliExpress on my platform. Currently, I have reached 1000 products and I notice that I have accidentally listed some products twice. The reason is that different sellers on AliExpress offer the same product, each with their own titles. Therefore, it is not possible for me (also based on the title or other characteristics) to recognize whether I have already listed the item. The more products I list, the harder it becomes to keep track. I believe that once I reach ten thousand products, it will be nearly impossible to maintain an overview of what has already been listed.
The only solution I can think of would be an AI that compares potential new products with a folder on my computer containing photos of all previously listed products. For example, I could add 100 products to the cart, and the AI would then check whether these 100 products have already been listed, and notify me if a product is already in the folder. The AI should skip similar products and recognize identical products that have been photographed from different angles or against different backgrounds. Is such a solution possible or do you have another idea? I would greatly appreciate help, as I am currently doing nothing else but trying to find a solution for this.
Well, I’m not really familiar with programming, etc. However, I’ve been thinking about this problem for a long time, but haven’t found a solution
