I have two instances on Google Cloud: one running EVE-NG and the other running Ubuntu. Both instances are in the same subnet, and I have configured firewall rules to allow SSH, ingress, and egress traffic. I’ve deployed a lab on EVE-NG with two Huawei routers connected to the management cloud. I can ping the gateway and SSH into these routers from the EVE-NG instance. However, the routers cannot ping each other despite being connected by a direct link, and I also cannot ping them from the Ubuntu instance. The Ubuntu instance can ping and SSH into the EVE-NG instance, and vice versa.
Why the routers cant ping each others ?
And why ubuntu cant ping or ssh to the routers
I tried to setup another gcloud route .
Ip forwarding on both instances.
Disabling firewalls on the instances .
Changing ip addresses .
And the others solutions i found online.
