I’m running Rails 7 on my server, even though when I add a new table, it does migrate and I can see it in the server database. But when I made changes by rolling back in development environment, and then migrated, it didn’t update the server’s database.
database.yml
# SQLite. Versions 3.8.0 and up are supported.
# gem install sqlite3
#
# Ensure the SQLite 3 gem is defined in your Gemfile
# gem "sqlite3"
#
default: &default
adapter: sqlite3
pool: <%= ENV.fetch("RAILS_MAX_THREADS") { 5 } %>
timeout: 5000
development:
<<: *default
database: db/development.sqlite3
# Warning: The database defined as "test" will be erased and
# re-generated from your development database when you run "rake".
# Do not set this db to the same as development or production.
test:
<<: *default
database: db/test.sqlite3
production:
<<: *default
database: db/production.sqlite3
deploy/production.rb :
server 'ip_here', user: 'user_here', roles: %w{app db web}
I also tried:
cap production deploy:migrate
but didn’t work
