I’m not sure how this works, def my first post and just going off what I’ve seen. But I’m trying to figure out why whenever I use a tool to flash my Rockchip (although batchtool is my initial or primary concern this has happened with multiple tools of the same nature) it always gives an Error couldn’t load firmware. And it seems the question is just non existent almost, the answer even more so, when I google it the question doesn’t ven pop up and when I deep dive for instance in comments on youtube I can finally find the question from others before me but absolutely no answer like not 1 person even trieed to answer the question. I feel like it may have something to do witth my Windows 11 maybe as I’ve tried other programs and yielded the same results. Also might be worth a mention, I had tried to use mtkclient installed on this same Windows device and when I ran mtk_gui command it would say it found device and everything and then just close out, at first after reading on their Github page It said it was known to have bugs on Windows but not Linux so I figured maybe that was all too it but now I wonder If maybe the issue is corelated. And altho mtk_client did work perfectly fine on Linux Im more hesitant about trying the Rockchip because of mentions of it being morre risky to brick on Linux for whatever reason.
I’ve tried different firmware, different tools, et. and still get the same result. I would like to figue it out so I can flash Rockchip device.
