I have an old Macbook (i7) running some of my favorite software. If I create a time machine backup of it and then install it on a VM running on my latest Macbook running M2/M3 CPU. Is it possible? If yes, any suggestions how I can? Perhaps some kind of tutorial?

I am on the lookout of a VM that can actually do this. I still haven’t found one.
