I have this image from which I want to remove the background. I tried using Otsu Thresholding, but some of the unwanted parts get mixed up with my region of interest.

I tried Otsu Thresholding and this was the result: (https://i.sstatic.net/82g8lN9T.png)
As you can see there are some white parts from the background peeking through.
Any idea how I can zoom in on the ROI?
