I am building a POS system with basic inventory management. I chose to use winforms for frontend and for backend I am using ASP.NET WEB API. I recently added Pagination. I need some intake or opinions on what else could I add. Since its a desktop app do i need still need to make a session management for this. I am lost right now and I don’t have a senior developer with me to ask help from.

I tried researching and using chatgpt to build it and I need an more insight about POS from someone experienced or someone knowlegable about retail industry. Thank you
