I am updating my application to Android 14 and am facing a problem about the newly added media permission.

When READ_MEDIA_VISUAL_USER_SELECTED is granted, it shows a photo picker to select some images. I can see they are successfully saved in application permission setting and can log the list of the selected images.

However, unlikely to my expectation, it shows all images from gallery when I click a picture button. It is weird because allow all permission is still denied in application permission setting.

How can I show selected images only when READ_MEDIA_VISUAL_USER_SELECTED is granted?
