When offline, the Mac Terminal indicates a different ‘whoami’ (username), which typically (though not consistently) changes upon reconnecting to the network.
When disconnected from the network, the identifier in Mac Terminal appears as “<User_Name>@Admins-MacBook-Pro-2”, transitioning to “<User_Name>@Panupongs-Air” upon establishing an online connection.
What’s happening?
Should I address this, and if so, what actions are required?
I’ve conducted a search and found several articles, but none specifically address this particular issue.
