As part of modeling the potential gains of an eco-design approach of developing websites, I am looking for case studies of medium-traffic websites for the general public, like blogs or content delivery services.
I am looking for 3 informations :
- The number of pages viewed in a full year (if detailled by month it’s better)
- The total weight of resources transferred via the internet over the same period (if not accessible I will extrapolate based on the average weight of the most viewd pages).
- The number of physical servers needed to support production traffic (and if possible the characteristics of the servers).
If you have any recommendation it would be highly appreciated.
So far, I found the linuxfr.org site which exposes usage statistics and seems to have only 1 production server.
