So my gf is workin on a project where they gotta create an extension but she ran into a problem so I was hoping to find a solution here

One issue is that they require the chrome extension theyre creatin to stay persistent even when user clicks away from it, is there a way you can do this?

they tried injecting I think ? but it didnt seem to have effect but Im not too sure
