I work for a small agency and one of our services is managing Google Business Profiles of our clients. We have about 160 profiles but we manage them though several google accounts – each employee has their own google accounts where they manage their respective clients.
A few days ago my boss told me to integrate those accounts with make.com to automate some of the daily tasks of my cowerkers. I created a project on each of their accounts and requested for API access through the form .
Yesterday, I got a response from the Google Business Profiles API team, and they said they allow one project to be allowlisted for one company. I send them an email explaining the situation and asking them for a recommendation, but they once again replied that the limit is one projec per company.
Is there a way to increase the limit? We manage already about 160 profiles and expect to grow the client base soon.
I found out there is a way to increase a project quota, but it doesn’t seem to be connected to the number of my business profiles we can manage from one account. I’ve been searching the internet but I can only find information about increasing the number of projects, nothing about increasing the number of Google My Business profiles.
Logically thinking, there are companies much bigger than our that probably have hundreds of clients and they should be able to use API somehow. Is there a way we can manage all profiles from one google account, so that I can request API access and automatize the workflow through make.com?
I’m sorry for my ignorance, but I’m primaryli a wordpress developer and I never had to lead with Google My Business before.
