I’ve been scouring the internet for ways to automate employee forms, like employment verification forms when someone needs a reference for buying a house. At the moment, we have to get employee names, compensation, etc. from our system, enter it in a template in Google docs, sign it, and send it back to the employee. We would like the employee to fill in their information, perhaps in a Docusign template or Google Doc that automatically sends to anyone on my team to sign.
I’ve been in Docusign trying to set up a template for this purpose, but it keeps asking for ‘Recipients’ even though this would be open to all employees.
Here is how I envision it:
- Employee clicks a link to Docusign or Google docs with the template form
- Employee fills in their information, as prompted by the template
- Once information is set, employee clicks a button or marks it as finished
- Form is sent to anyone of the 5 people on my team who can sign the document and approve
- Once approved, it’s sent back as a completed form to the employee, who can now use it.
