Is it possible to detect with Traceroute that a user is using a Proxy? Specifically, here I am connected to a Proxy Server.

And as we can see, we get only 2 hops here. If I turn off the Proxy and perform Traceroute from my Home or Mobile Internet, – I get about 10 hops

That means, it is possible to determine whether the user is sitting through a Proxy or not? Thanks!
