I recently dug a box full of old and forgotten about electronic devices out of the back of my closet. I was surprised at how many devices I had acquired over the last couple decades (give or take a few years +/- 5). After looking through my vast collection, I plugged up my first iPod touch to charge and tried to load the songs from my playlist to my new HP laptop. Apple wouldn’t let me access my iTunes account because I couldn’t remember my old password and didn’t have the same phone number used when I first signed up for the account. I have to wait until the end of May and Apple said they would contact me when I could get into my account. I attempted to load the songs on my computer anyway. There’s a problem updating the device. My question is why would a device bought new by me and owned only by me have another person’s name in the files?
Example: ?xml version=”1.0″ encoding=”UTF-8″?
!DOCTYPE plist PUBLIC “-//Apple//DTD PLIST 1.0//EN” “http://www.apple.com/DTDs/PropertyList-1.0.dtd”
plist version=”1.0″
key>Name</key
string>Newt Masterson</string
key>Age</key
integer>43</integer
key>Children</key
array>
string>Ellen</string
string>Luna</string
string>Norma</string
I tried updating the driver to the iPod but my computer keeps saying device not recognized. It also has this (œ»Òueê). I have no clue what that is either!
My name is not Newt, I do not have 3 children, and I do not and have not ever associated, known, nor recognize any of those names. I got my first computer between 1999-2002. I was a regular on WIKI, FANDOM, and MYSPACE and I love browsing MAP apps, hidden pictures before their time (20 plus years) plus or minus 5, and I am the original “FAX” checker. I’ve been hacked multiple times over the 2 years and been locked out of every internet account I own for months at a time. I’ve been falsely accused, sued, and drug through the mud by the media, news, tv, and internet included after having a 27 year untarnished career in healthcare. If you know anything I am talking about I would appreciate all the help I can get. If not, please do not leave negative comments as they will not be addressed.
