I want to install SQL Server and run the local instance.
I installed SQL Server and when I am installing database engine keeps failing. What are others steps to make sure the installation succeeds?
What I’ve tried:
- Installing over again couple times.
- Repairing installing couple of times.
- Turning off firewall then installing couple times.
- Running installation as admin user couple times.
Still the database engine keeps failing.
And I can’t start the SQL Server service.
Am I correct to assume that this fails because the SQL Server service can’t start because database engine is not installed?
