I am trying to set up SSMS with a local db configuration on my machine but its failing with a not so helpful error message.
The plan is to first install the SQL server and then the SSMS to add the created server as a db engine but the first step itself is resulting in an error.

I have tried re-installing and I am doing it on a fresh Windows 11 image with no earlier configuration of SQL server whatsoever.
