I’m trying to figure out what would be the best way to integrate a calendar to my WordPress webpage. I’ve been going through some free plugins but haven’t found an optimal solution yet. Here is my problem:

1. I would like to create a calendar on my website that shows all the upcoming events
2. I want to somehow automate the creation of events on the calendar. I don’t want to be the one manually inputting all of the events but hopefully have each person input their own event, which then shows up on the calendar.
3. I want to make sure that people who create events (many different individuals) have access to create events but can’t actually “hijack” my website
4. Would love to make sure if I could just review and approve the events before actually posting them on the calendar

I was thinking about adding Google Calendar to my website and connect it with Google Forms, which could be used by other people to create events without me having to worry about giving them any extra access to my website. But I’m not sure how to manage the review and approval. I would like to review and approve those events myself, before they’re actually posted. Does anyone have any idea how to handle this? Or maybe even giving me a better solution than this.
