So like, I’m trying to download eclipse but every time I do it. It redirects me to its website telling me to download the latest java or something. But I already have JDK 22 and JRE 1.8. When I deupgrade me java cmd prompt won’t return anything and still gives me the same redirect.

I’ve tried downloading JDK 11, 17, 18, and 21. But when I try to check it on cmd prompt nothing shows up. java -version and java –version returns nothing. I’ve tried to do all of the stuff in advance system settings but it still won’t work unless its JDK 22. I’m just stuck on a loop of installing an uninstalling, I’m tired of it. I could take a video step by step on how I try to do all of these.
