On Windows, is there a way to track/log the removal of files on drives?

I have a bunch of files that mysteriously disappeared from my machine and wondered if there’s a way of logging file removal on a Windows system? Eg. which process deleted the file and when?

I was thinking of indexing files on my drivers periodically, but with >3.5Mil files it’s quite a lengthy process.
