My password isn’t working.
I clicked on “Forgot Password”. I have 2 factor authentication turned on. Why isn’t it asking for my phone number to reset my password? I’m using the same laptop I always use.
This is the message:
You’re trying to sign in on a device Google doesn’t recognize, and we don’t have enough information to verify that it’s you. For your protection, you can’t sign in here right now.
I also tried using the “Tips to complete account recovery steps” (https://support.google.com/accounts/answer/7299973). After I enter my email address in the account recovery (https://accounts.google.com/v3/signin/recoveryidentifier?flowName=GlifWebSignIn&dsh=S254398606%3A1727215666000598&ddm=0)
I keep getting this message:
