How do I report address data issues with the Google CASS Validation API.
I recently found an address that Google CASS returns a DPV code for “Unknown”, (“dpvFootnote”: “A1”,). I contact the local US Postal office and they confirmed the address was deliverable. They also linked me to the USPS Address Lookup website, which correctly reports the DPV code as good.
This appears to be a data issue, or possible related to Googles use of their “artificially generated addresses”.
To cross validate the address, I looked up the address details on the USPS website, the Google API Demo page, and Google Maps (Places).

https://developers.google.com/maps/documentation/address-validation/demo

All three correctly locate the address and pin the same location on the map. Some of the address details are different on USPS, and it appears that Google is using their “artificially” generated address.
The address is: 19 ROUTE 116, PURDYS, NY 10578-1431
