I have an Ubuntu 22.04 virtual machine through Virtual Box and I am trying to make it so it can detect my 1TB external SanDisk SSD that I am connecting through USB. When I reboot my entire computer and then start my vm, my vm can detect the SSD. However when I turn off my virtual machine and then restart it for some reason it can’t automatically detect the SSD thats connected even though it did after my computer reboot. Is there a way to make my vm consistently recognize my external SSD without having to reboot my entire computer (Windows 10).

I already tried editing the USB filters to include my SSD. I also tried unplugging and plugging back in continuously with no avail.
