I’m new to this platform,
a Quosux refugee too, &
have almost no preparation
when it comes to computer languages.
So, please pardon my clumsiness.
Furthermore, this concerns
an æsthetic matter, nothiŋ critical,
have no pressure.
For a while I’ve had this odd idea…
a MS-Agent inspired character
for a personal website.
Yes, like Clippy, but
the one from the early 2000s,
sitting there quietly
w/o bothering the user.
However, the MS-Agent stuff is outdated,
only supported by Windows,
& natively on pre-Win10 releases.
Was hoping for a workaround,
showiŋ on just about any OS,
without any download requirements.
I envisioned the mascot thusly :
a graphic placed in a corner;
Once clicked, an anectode is randomly picked
from a pool (as suggested by the short-form question),
& possibly displayed inside
a speech bubble graphic or a box element.
Given my icompetence & near-nil code skills,
I’m biased towards html,
but I don’t disdain css
(I just don’t trust myself with it,
nor know how to preview the .html&.css files simultaneously in a single browser tab…xÞ).
Thank you very much indeed for your time&patience,
hopefully this frivolous question I had
didn’t cause too much tædium.
Looking forth to your inputs.
Ciao~ ( ^-^)/
