I’m new to this site. Bear with me here. I have a major issue. I want to install windows 11 on my new fresh USb drive. However, I encounter an issue of ‘curl’is not recognized.
I want to install windows 11 because my new laptop is currently experiencing a BSOD. I can’t log in into windows, I can’t use CMD, and I can’t even log into Safe Mode before blue screen crash. The new laptop is saying that I need to install window from an usb drive.
Two Error codes: 0xc000001 (Bad_System_config_Info) and when i enter recovery settings I see:
Error 0xc0000098 “The Boot Configuration Data File doesn’t contain valid information for an operating system”
On top of that this laptop is a HP Victus 16 gaming computer with 32 Gb ram and nvmeSSD graphic card. Somehow I got 100% disk usage and I don’t understand why. One day I ran this command C:/ chsdsk /f. Something like that I did. When I restarted the PC, I got the infamous BSOD. I also ran a sfc scan cmd one day and it did told me that I have corrupted files. However, it was never resolved.
What I Tried and Seek For Solution
I tried to enter safe mode to diagnostic my issue but couldn’t log into windows because my pc keeps crashing. When I got 100% disk usage, I clear temp files, clean for malware, clear cookies from browser, increase power performance to high, and disable startup programs in the background under task manager.
I forgot to mentioned that I had a 52Gb temp files that no matter what I do it still shows 52GB under storage sense. The real issue right now is to install windows 11 on a usb drive using the rufus method. Rufus is a site that show different windows installation. I’m using an old windows 8 PC to install windows 11 (site: https://rufus.ie/en/) on my USB so I can used it on my new laptop. Not sure if it’s possible.
I’m following the rufus method from a Youtuber name CyberCPU Tech. While at this process, I got stuck when I saw ‘curl’ not recognized.
