Back on my trip home I was listening to music and got to the volume level warning. By accident I input vol down + vol up which dismissed the warning and now it’s possible to go above the volume warning. I don’t like this – I have been using my phone for 6 years with a volume warning and it’s important to me. It’s close to my heart. It’s suddenly gone – reminds me of when I talked to a guy a few years back. We had it going well but when I mentioned I’m felinotarian (I’m a vegan that eats cats too) he left and never came back. He said it’s wrong and unhygienic but I disagree. Actually I’m scurvytarian too – I don’t eat vitamin C. The correct term would be scurvyfelinotarian I guess but it doesn’t really matter. Tommy left me and so did the volume warning. I want at least the volume warning back. The issue is that every guide online seems to focus on how to remove this warning if it persists, not get it back if it doesn’t.
If it’s important, I am on Android 9, Resurrection Remix. I have root access and access to sh
from the terminal emulator (the system one, not termux).
I also use Arch Linux which is unrelated to the question but I am required to let you know as per by the Arch rules. Otherwise I will be rejected from the secret club. I don’t want to be rejected from the secret club.
The weather is nice today so I’m going to cook some pasta while I wait for some smart fella (or a fart smella) to check out the question. If you know the answer, please let me know. If you answer before I eat the pasta I might give you some.
Some gentleman on the Internet said the volume warning comes back after 20 hours but it didn’t. I waited for over a week and rebooted but nothing helped so I’m disappointed. I wonder if this lying gentleman is Tommy who left me over the cat eating debate.
There is also no toggle in settings, I checked twice.
