I’m working on a machine learning project aimed at testing water purity using microscopic images. The goal of the project is to:
Segment various bacteria present in the sample images.
Recognize different types of bacteria.
Assess the purity of water based on the quantity and types of bacteria identified.
To achieve this, I need a dataset of microscopic images of water samples that contain different types of bacteria. I’ve researched several sources but haven’t been able to find a publicly available dataset that fits my needs.
Does anyone know where I can find such datasets or have suggestions on how to obtain them? Any pointers towards academic papers, research institutions, or public repositories that might have relevant data would be greatly appreciated.
What I’ve Tried:
Checking platforms like Kaggle and the UCI Machine Learning Repository.
Searching academic papers and articles for references to datasets.
