Our team is participating in a project competition where we plan to create an application that translates Indian Sign Language (ISL) into text and speech in real-time. The goal is to facilitate communication for the deaf and hard-of-hearing community with the hearing world. The app should be able to:
- Recognize and interpret a wide range of ISL signs and gestures.
- Provide accurate text and speech output in multiple Indian languages.
Current Status:
- We have only discussed the problem statement and haven’t started any development yet.
- Our team members have little to no experience in app development.
Guidance Needed:
- How should we start this project? What technologies or tools should we explore?
- Are there any specific resources or tutorials that could help us learn the basics of app development relevant to this project?
- What would be a good approach to divide tasks among team members who are new to this?
