I currently have a bank with several states/provinces, linked to a country ID.

NOTE: There are things registered incorrectly in this bank.

Searching the web I found an open source state/province bank, I would like to check all states/provinces that have this new bank and those that don’t have it I need to check somehow whether these states/provinces exist or not in the world.

Does anyone have any idea how to update this database correctly?

I’ve already checked some old bank records that were duplicates with literally all the same characters.

I also ran an API to return the name of the state/province correctly, to eliminate some of the duplication as well.
