I am currently working with EKS and using collector as ADOT to export metrics to Amazon managed Prometheus service. I used the cm as presented in this: Why am I not able scrape Prometheus metrics from the pods using AWS ADOT Prometheus Collector

Now I am seeing the bill for 1,960,000,000 Metric Datapoints collected in 3 days with more than $100 of charge.
I am not sure if this is the right amount or have I configured the scraping correctly ?
Secondly is this charge monthly or one time and will get reset every month ?
