I’m evaluating the effectiveness of the compile option in KAPT’s aptMode and would like to understand how frequently other developers use this option. Specifically, I’m interested in knowing:

• In what types or scales of projects do you use the compile option?
• Are there situations where you’ve found it particularly effective or
  ineffective and you chose any alternative?

Any insights on the frequency and context of its usage would be very helpful for my evaluation.
