I’m halfway done learning C++ but I don’t understand how can we turn the code into an app. For example in HTML, You can save it as (name).html to turn it into a website. Then how do you turn C++ into an app.

By the way, I use codeblocks so, when I saved my code into file explorer I added .cpp after it while saving. But I could only open it by opening the codeblocks app and run it from codeblocks. I thought we can open it directly.
