So on my Homebrewed Wii I used BootMii to boot to go into Gumboot and eventually I got it to boot the Gamecube/Wii Linux and when the kernel started I got a kernel panic that said that the rootfs failed to mount and said to configure “boot=” and showed me the available partitions even though I put the rootfs files in the “gumboot” folder in the root of the SD card (also there were errors copying some files over to the SD card most likely from limitations with the FAT32 filesystem.) So at first I realized that I never put the rootfs files in the “gumboot” folder at the root of my SD card and even when I tried that I got the same kernel panic.
