I have a list of products that have been sent to me that I am trying to distribute (see fruits attached). I also have a list of how many products a vendor should get (see attached – stores).

What i am trying to do (unsuccessfully) is get excel to randomly assign these fruits to the suppliers.

In my mind – i would want the end result to look something like:

Target – Watermelon | Watermelon | Bananas | Oranges

I’ve tried random functions but that doesn’t do what i’m looking for, and I want to be able to use the lists as i receive.
