If you copy and image and paste it into into a Stack Overflow (or more broadly – Stack Exchange) website while creating or editing a Question or Answer, the image data will be automatically uploaded to imgur.

(Actually, iirc these days it is sent to a sister site of Imgur which Stack Exchange host the data for.)

Is there a way to delete this image data? I have copies of the URLs, and by pasting those URLs into a browser I can see that the images still exist.
