I’m trying to create a google site that my team will use as a data dashboard. It’s not a colossal database or anything so just using google sheets for storing our data (a number of actions). Due to my team’s limited tech-literacy I want to use a google site as the “front-end” for their ease of use. Similarly, I’d like to use drop-downs for them to select the correct item (an action) when updating it’s status (complete, uncomplete, etc.).

It would be great if I can do this without creating an entire webapp, although, it’s looking more and more like this is what I’ll have to do.

I appreciate any advice given.

Currently, I’ve tried using things like the query function but this doesn’t allow me to actually change the source data.
